Actress Sofia Vergara and longtime boyfriend, Nick Loeb are engaged.

Sofia Vergara is getting married. The "Modern Family" star got an early birthday present Monday when she got engaged to her longtime businessman boyfriend, Nick Loeb.
Mr. Loeb popped the question Monday night in Mexico, where Vergara is in the midst of a week-long celebration of her 40th birthday with family and friends, including "Family" costars Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Wonderwall was the first to report the happy news that Loeb, who is the founder and creator of a food topping called Onion Crunch, put a ring on it while the birthday entourage was sightseeing at the Mayan archeological ruins of Chichen Itza.
Later, Vergara was spotted at the Rosewood Mayakoba resort, where "she was bouncing around and showing everyone the ring," a source tells E! News. You can even see the engagement bling on a pic posted to Twitter by one of her friends.

Vergara has been holding court at the posh Rivera Maya getaway since the weekend. There was a dinner at Casa del Lago on Friday followed by drinks at Agave Azul. Sunday included a boat ride to Cozumel and another dinner at Punta Bonita.
In just a few hours, more than 90 guests will gather for a big party at the resort to toast Vergara, whose actual birthday is Tuesday.
This will be Vergara's second marriage. She has a 20-year-old son, Manolo, with her first husband.
